Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and integrity of all mechanical equipment in the plant. The role involves planning, executing, and supervising predictive and preventive maintenance activities while adhering to safety policies, company guidelines, and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance following established policies, processes, and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules in coordination with Production, Technology, and CES teams.
• Create resourcing plans for routine maintenance and shutdown jobs.
• Collect mechanical performance data, monitor KPIs, and report deviations to lead maintenance.
• Plan and control inventory of mechanical spares, issue parts for jobs, and support procurement activities.
• Assist in preparing maintenance cost budgets and analyze utilization.
• Supervise and execute mechanical maintenance tasks with a focus on quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Analyze equipment condition, identify irregularities, and implement corrective actions to improve availability.
• Perform preservation activities and manage shutdown job execution according to schedule.
