Mechanical Engineering II

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering II to support the design and development of process mechanical packages for infrastructure projects. The role involves understanding utility requirements, creating equipment layouts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop equipment layouts for process exhaust, vacuum, compressor and PCW systems and calculate flow and pressure requirements.
• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, system schematics, and mechanical specifications.
• Perform equipment sizing and selection for pumps, fans, scrubbers, compressors, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, and piping.
• Conduct hydraulic calculations for various process streams.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, electrical, automation) to align design deliverables.
• Review vendor drawings, datasheets and technical documents for compliance.

Required profile

• Knowledge of ASME, API, SEMI, CPCB or other regulatory standards.
• Experience collaborating with architects, MEP engineers and facility planners.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support training initiatives.
