Mechanical Engineer – Piping & Structural (15+ yrs)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer specialized in piping and structural works for boiler packages in power plant projects. The successful candidate will supervise fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with quality, safety and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise piping and structural fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and client specifications.
• Monitor hydro‑testing, non‑destructive testing (NDT), post‑weld heat treatment (PWHT) and punch‑list clearance.
• Liaise with engineering, QA/QC and construction teams to resolve site issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in boiler packages of power plant projects.
• Proven ability to manage manpower and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction activities, safety and quality compliance.
