Mechanical Engineer III – Robotics Automation

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer III in the Robotics team, you will design, develop, integrate and qualify complex automation and robotics subsystems for semiconductor equipment. You will work across mechanical, electrical, controls and software domains to deliver robust solutions that meet performance and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and development of automation and robotics subsystems, including material‑handling robots, transfer mechanisms and associated control hardware.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis (kinematics, dynamics, mechanism synthesis) to resolve technical challenges.
• Build, evaluate and qualify prototypes, manage testing, and drive design changes based on results.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, sourcing and supplier teams to ensure successful system integration.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a solid foundation in physics, mathematics and materials science.
• Excellent communication skills for specification development and technical explanations.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
