MBSE Capability Verification & Validation Leader

About the role

We are looking for an MBSE Capability Verification & Validation Leader to drive the strategic planning and deployment of new Systems Engineering (SE) and Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) capabilities. The role works closely with business strategy, agile development teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of large‑scale features.

Key responsibilities

• Define, track, and refine EPICs and User Stories for new SE/MBSE capabilities.
• Plan and coordinate business releases, aligning development sprints with the capability roadmap.
• Monitor capability development progress and provide regular status reports on release readiness.
• Facilitate communication across development teams to resolve dependencies and ensure smooth integration.
• Maintain understanding of the Airbus MBSE Framework and core SE principles.
• Establish traceability between high‑level business requirements (EPICs) and technical components/models.
• Assist in creating and reviewing MBSE methods, handbooks, deployment guides, and training materials.
• Support the MBSE Acceleration team with administrative and coordination tasks.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of Systems Engineering and Model‑Based Systems Engineering concepts.
• Basic to intermediate experience with Agile development frameworks and tools such as Jira or VersionOne.
• Familiarity with aircraft systems (avionics, flight controls, structures) is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical experts and non‑technical stakeholders.
