Maths Faculty – NEET Coaching (Kolkata)

About the role

PrepMed NEET, a fast‑growing ed‑tech start‑up, is looking for a full‑time Maths Faculty to join its Greater Kolkata campus. The role involves designing and delivering mathematics lessons that align with the NEET syllabus and the company’s exam‑focused learning programs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and evaluate classroom sessions for classes 7‑12.
• Create problem sets, practice materials and assessment tools.
• Use student performance data to refine teaching strategies.
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure content consistency across subjects.
• Provide doubt‑clearing sessions, mentoring and exam‑oriented guidance.
• Maintain academic discipline and support both online and offline assessments.
• Participate in regular academic reviews, training and collaborative faculty meetings.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.
• Solid foundation in Physics and Statistics relevant to NEET preparation.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field; teaching certification is a plus.
• 3‑4 years of teaching experience in schools, coaching institutes or ed‑tech platforms, preferably for NEET or other competitive exams.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt methods to diverse learners.
• Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using digital tools, online learning platforms and multimedia resources.
