Mathematics Teacher

About the role

PrepMed NEET, an emerging ed‑tech startup focused on NEET preparation, is seeking a full‑time Mathematics Teacher to join its on‑site faculty in Greater Kolkata. The role involves delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons to students in classes 7‑12 and supporting both live and recorded instructional content.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive mathematics lessons that follow the NEET syllabus.
• Prepare lesson plans, practice questions, quizzes, and mock tests.
• Conduct live doubt‑clearing sessions and provide timely feedback on student performance.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to improve curriculum and create interdisciplinary problem‑solving activities.
• Maintain academic discipline during classes and participate in faculty workshops and training.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience for classes 7‑12, preferably with NEET, JEE or similar competitive exam preparation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and applied mathematics at the NEET level, with working familiarity of physics and statistics.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse learners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic educational technology tools for presentations and content creation.
