About the role
Openhouse is expanding its At Home learning programme across Bangalore, bringing high‑quality, one‑to‑one maths tutoring directly into children’s residences. As a Mathematics Teacher you will deliver personalised maths sessions to children aged 5‑12, helping them grasp concepts rather than memorise rules.

- Explain concepts so they click for the child, avoiding rote memorisation.
- Provide feedback on the in‑house maths curriculum from a teacher’s perspective.
- Relay observations from sessions to continuously improve curriculum design.
Required profile
- 4–6 years of experience teaching maths to children aged 5–12.
- Strong command of school‑level mathematics and genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
- Comfortable travelling across Bangalore and teaching 1:1 in a child’s home.
- Patient, clear communicator able to gauge a child’s level on the spot.
- Based in Bangalore and available for a full‑time position.
