Materials Handling Associate – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

The Materials Handling Associate supports the efficient movement and storage of pharmaceutical materials within a manufacturing site. Working with manual methods and low‑complexity equipment, the role ensures that production lines have the right materials at the right time while complying with GMP and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Move and store raw and finished materials using manual labor and low‑complexity machinery according to established guidelines.
• Maintain the flow of materials to guarantee availability for production activities.
• Log incoming and outgoing material movements, ensuring accurate records in line with GMP requirements.
• Operate motorized and non‑motorized material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety and GMP standards.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or non‑conformances promptly to supervisors.

Required profile

• Undergraduate ITI (required) or B.Sc. (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in material handling or warehouse operations, preferably in a regulated environment.

Required skills

• Operation of low‑complexity motorized and non‑motorized material handling equipment.
• Accurate record‑keeping and documentation in compliance with GMP and Good Distribution Practices.
