Material Planner

About the role

The Material Planner is part of Ericsson's Hardware Services Delivery team, responsible for ensuring the right service parts are available to restore network failures quickly. This role combines data‑driven analysis with continuous improvement to optimise delivery performance while controlling costs and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Hardware Services material planning process efficiently.
• Maintain stock availability through forecasting, stock dimensioning, replenishment and source planning.
• Monitor supplier and repair‑center orders, and act as the primary interface for daily issues.
• Escalate structural problems such as capacity or quality to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process and tool improvements.
• Drive cost‑saving and service‑enhancement initiatives.
• Review and adjust target stock levels in response to demand changes.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and execute effective counter‑measures.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in material or inventory planning, preferably with reverse‑logistics exposure.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with data‑driven decision making.
