Marketing Product Owner

About the role

The Marketing Product Owner will own the platform that powers marketing – the CMS, website, content publishing and campaign infrastructure. Acting as the bridge between marketing intent and live web experiences, you will ensure a tight backlog, predictable releases and measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a clear, buildable backlog for engineering, ensuring tickets are ready to start on day one.
• Collaborate closely with marketing to understand campaign calendars, content roadmaps and growth initiatives, anticipating needs before they arise.
• Serve as the single point of accountability between marketing and engineering, preventing lost requests and surprise releases.
• Prioritize trade‑offs, sequence work, and protect the team from over‑commitment while delivering on marketing priorities.
• Monitor performance, accessibility and SEO metrics, integrating Core Web Vitals and page‑speed improvements into ongoing work.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Product Owner or similar role within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Background in SaaS products with inbound or content‑driven growth, treating the website as a revenue surface.
• Hands‑on experience with headless or composable CMS platforms.
• Proficiency with modern marketing analytics tools (GA4, GTM, Segment, Mixpanel).
• Practical SEO knowledge and experience running A/B tests on landing pages or funnels.
