Marketing Data Scientist

About the role

Google’s Marketing team is looking for a data scientist who will lead measurement and analytics programs across media campaigns. You will work with cross‑functional stakeholders to turn raw data into actionable insights that drive business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data‑driven solutions for marketing challenges, including audience segmentation, propensity modeling, and meta‑analysis.
• Design, implement, and improve data pipelines and automated analytics workflows.
• Own measurement frameworks, define milestones, and manage the APAC share of global projects.
• Collaborate with agencies and vendors to ensure consistent execution and delivery of insights.
• Communicate findings and recommendations persuasively to senior executives and support implementation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Engineering, Sciences) or equivalent practical experience; PhD is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience applying analytics to solve product or business problems.
• Proven ability to translate business problems into research questions and turn findings into marketing recommendations.
• Experience with brand measurement, panel setup, media lift studies, and statistical testing.
