Market Analyst

About the role

The Market Analyst will conduct focused market research and deliver in‑depth insights to support strategic decision‑making at Bureau Veritas. You will work across multiple product lines, leveraging advanced research methodologies and digital tools to produce high‑impact intelligence for internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute independent market research studies from kickoff to final delivery, including market sizing, growth forecasts, and competitive benchmarking.
• Gather and analyse complex qualitative and quantitative data, transforming findings into executive‑ready presentations and reports.
• Utilise AI‑enabled research tools and digital platforms for rapid data discovery, news alerts, and trend monitoring while ensuring data validation.
• Collaborate with the Global Market Intelligence team and regional analysts on large‑scale, multi‑sector assignments and share best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in market research, market intelligence, consulting or strategy.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills, with ability to produce executive‑level materials.
• Experience working in an international or multi‑regional environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Expertise in market research methodologies such as TAM/SAM/SOM, PESTLE, Porter’s Five Forces, value‑chain analysis and competitor benchmarking.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑enabled market research tools for desk research, summarisation and trend detection.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation platforms, particularly Tableau.
