Manager – Scientific Services

About the role

Springer Nature is seeking a Manager for its Scientific Services division in Mumbai. The role will lead the creation and delivery of high‑quality scientific communications and Medical Affairs initiatives for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, supporting the growth of Springer Health+ in India.

Key responsibilities

• Develop evidence‑based scientific content, including advisory board materials, slide decks, manuscripts, literature reviews and medical education assets.
• Conduct comprehensive literature searches, evidence assessments and scientific analyses to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Review and quality‑check all deliverables for scientific rigor, regulatory compliance and alignment with client expectations.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs teams to support strategic scientific objectives and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Stay current on therapeutic advances, emerging evidence and industry trends to maintain deep product and service knowledge.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare communications, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to balance business goals and regulatory requirements.
