Manager – Metals & Mining Digital Transformation (PMO)

About the role

Lead end‑to‑end digital transformation and PMO for large capital projects in the metals and mining sector. The role covers planning, execution, governance and benefits realization, driving adoption of advanced digital and AI solutions to improve time, cost, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and run the PMO, including stage‑gate governance, change control, RACI matrices, decision logs and escalation paths.
• Build and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule, perform critical‑path and what‑if analyses, and lead schedule compression initiatives.
• Implement cost controls such as budget phasing, Earned Value Management (EVM) with CPI/SPI, forecast‑at‑completion and variance analysis, delivering executive reporting.
• Drive risk management and governance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote and integrate digital/AI tools including 5D BIM, advanced scheduling and risk analytics, drone/LiDAR progress tracking, IoT geo‑fencing for materials, digital twins and GenAI assistants for controls and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale capital projects in metals and mining.
• Strong PMO and governance expertise at a managerial level.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders.
