Manager – Last Mile & D2C Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Manager to own the end‑to‑end last‑mile journey for direct‑to‑consumer orders, from warehouse dispatch to doorstep delivery, covering both domestic shipments in India and international shipments to the US.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch operations, allocating orders to appropriate couriers based on destination, weight, serviceability and cost.
• Oversee shipping label creation, manifests and hand‑over to courier partners ensuring timely pickup.
• Monitor shipment weights versus billed weights, flag discrepancies and prevent logistics cost leakages.
• Track shipments end‑to‑end, identify delayed or high‑risk parcels and initiate corrective actions.
• Measure and improve key delivery metrics such as on‑time delivery %, average transit time and first‑attempt success rate.
• Resolve non‑delivery reports (NDRs) and delivery exceptions in coordination with customer experience and courier partners.
• Manage return‑to‑origin (RTO) processes, from identification through warehouse receipt and inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate with multiple courier partners, evaluate performance against SLAs and negotiate improvements.
• Handle international shipments from India to the US, ensuring customs documentation and cost visibility.
• Reconcile courier invoices with actual shipments, verify weights and rates, and flag over‑billing for resolution.
• Prepare daily and weekly performance dashboards and reports for operations and supply‑chain leadership.
