Manager – Global Compliance & Reporting (Tax) – Mumbai

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager for its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) tax team in Mumbai. The role supports financial services clients navigating regulatory change, digital transformation and complex tax environments. You will work within a collaborative, technology‑enabled practice to deliver high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance, reporting and advisory services for financial services clients.
• Support transaction tax and private‑equity engagements, ensuring accurate tax planning and compliance.
• Collaborate with multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
• Leverage EY’s technology platforms to streamline tax processes and reduce risk.
• Stay current on global tax policies and regulatory developments to guide client decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification experience in transaction tax and private‑equity.
• Strong collaborative mindset with a practical approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to work across diverse client teams and manage regulatory requirements.
