Manager, Full Stack Engineering (Hybrid)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Full Stack Engineering to lead the design, development, modernization, and delivery of enterprise digital products and cloud‑native applications supporting Clinical Development, R&D, Medical Affairs and other enterprise technology groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team of full‑stack engineers, technical leads and application developers.
• Set engineering standards for secure coding, architecture, testing, observability and production readiness.
• Drive technical excellence through design reviews, code reviews, reusable patterns and engineering communities of practice.
• Guide architecture and implementation across front‑end, back‑end, integration, database, authentication and deployment layers.
• Promote cloud‑native design patterns, micro‑services, API‑first architecture, containerization and managed cloud services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security scans and infrastructure automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of software engineering experience and 5+ years of people‑leadership experience.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale applications using modern front‑end, back‑end, API and cloud technologies.
• Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and production support.
• Background in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences is preferred.
