Manager – Fraud Detection & Data Engineering

About the role

Bank of America is building a Strategies, Analytics & Process Integration team in India to improve fraud detection and reduce loss. As a Manager, you will partner with the lead data scientist, analytics, technology, product and policy teams to deliver advanced analytical solutions that lower fraud costs and enhance the client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, Spark and Hadoop ecosystems.
• Build end‑to‑end data ingestion and transformation workflows for large, complex datasets.
• Automate and orchestrate data jobs, including scheduling, monitoring and recovery, using workflow tools.
• Create and sustain high‑quality data foundations that support reporting, analytics and model deployment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to integrate analytical solutions into fraud detection processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Python and PySpark for big‑data processing.
• Proven ability to build and optimise data pipelines in Spark/Hadoop environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering data‑driven solutions.
• Experience working with data scientists and product teams on fraud‑related initiatives.
