Manager - Financial Reporting

About the role

The Manager – Financial Reporting will lead the preparation and analysis of the company’s financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance for leadership and investor reviews. This role works closely with FP&A, audit teams, and various business units to deliver high‑quality reporting and insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month, quarter and year‑end financial statements, including cash‑flow statements, and address leadership comments promptly.
• Partner with FP&A to compile and review period‑end investor and leadership reports.
• Perform financial data reconciliations across internal systems to guarantee accurate reporting.
• Execute consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Maintain and update equity roll‑forward and capitalization tables for investor submissions.
• Collaborate with process owners to gather information for financial statement footnotes.
• Facilitate leadership review of financial statements and resolve feedback.
• Track open audit requests and provide required documentation for audit completion.
• Prepare the annual GAAP checklist and participate in audit walkthrough meetings.
• Prepare acquisition footnotes when applicable and review P&L coding for proper cost presentation.
• Conduct year‑end going‑concern analysis and draft the accompanying memo.
• Support internal ad‑hoc reporting requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree is a plus).
• CPA certification with Big 4 experience.
• 8–10 years of public or private accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency)
