Manager - Electrical Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions, is seeking a Manager – Electrical Engineer for its Bangalore location. You will lead an engineering group, ensure safety and staffing, and drive technical excellence across product development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise an engineering team with responsibility for lab and office safety, staffing, technical mentoring, and budget adherence.
• Provide technical leadership and execute engineering projects, ensuring on‑time product releases and rapid resolution of complex issues.
• Coordinate integration of engineering resources with cross‑functional teams to meet product goals and define product specifications and exit criteria.
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external customers on complex electrical issues.
• Lead technical reviews, contribute to the electrical engineering strategy, roadmap, and business processes.
