Manager – Cold End Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Manager to lead Cold End Maintenance at our glass container manufacturing plant in Jambusar, Gujarat. The role ensures reliable operation of inspection and packaging equipment, supports uninterrupted production, and drives continuous improvement of equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for cold end machines such as single liners, shrink‑wrappers, box wrappers and gauge machines.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyse root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams, ensuring manpower, tools and spares are ready for planned shutdowns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, comply with ISO, Six Sigma and SAP PM procedures, and support internal audits.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, raise purchase requisitions and verify receipt of critical consumables.
• Promote safety, discipline and housekeeping standards in dust‑free inspection and packing zones.

Required profile

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics or related discipline.
• Proven experience in cold end equipment maintenance within glass container manufacturing or industrial automation.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to perform root‑cause analysis and drive reliability improvements.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work across cross‑functional teams.
