Manager - Charging Network Operations & Process Excellence

About the role

Exponent Energy is hiring a Manager for its Charging Network team in Bengaluru. This is a central process excellence role that owns the design, standardisation and continuous improvement of processes across deployment, operations and service of the charging network. The role sits at the intersection of field execution, system workflows and network performance, ensuring consistency, scalability and reliability across all India locations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end processes for deployment, operations and service, defining SOPs, workflows and execution standards across sites and teams, and reducing variability in field execution.
• Refine processes continuously using on-ground feedback and performance data.
• Identify inefficiencies in deployment, uptime, service response and issue resolution, and drive structured problem-solving to improve turnaround times and reliability.
• Establish and track key operational metrics, and lead initiatives to improve utilisation, uptime and service quality.
• Work with deployment, service, product and supply chain teams, aligning processes with product design and hardware constraints and closing operational gaps through follow-ups and escalation.
• Ensure smooth handoffs between deployment, commissioning and service, and build mechanisms to capture structured field feedback and turn recurring issues into process, design or training improvements.
• Improve process visibility through dashboards, tracking systems and reporting, and ensure data accuracy across installations, service logs and network performance.
• Identify risks across deployment readiness, service capability and operational dependencies, and build mitigation plans to ensure continuity.

Required profile

• Strong grounding in operations, process excellence or program execution.
• Experience with field operations, service networks or infrastructure deployment.
• Ability to turn ambiguity into structured processes and execution plans.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management across functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, balancing detail orientation with system-level thinking.
• Drives outcomes through ownership rather than authority, with a bias for action and disciplined execution.
