Manager, Accounting

About the role

Mastercard Technology Private Limited, a MasterCard company, is seeking a Manager, Accounting to lead statutory and tax compliance for multiple entities across South Asia. The role will act as the primary contact for statutory compliance and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the key point of contact on statutory compliance for the SA Controller, regional controller and Corporate Accounting.
• Manage all non‑tax compliances such as FEMA, STPI, MSMED, Negotiable Instruments Act and statistical reporting.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure compliance for outsourced activities and provide training on upcoming regulations.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting principles across entities and support internal/external audits.
• Prepare tax forecasts, handle tax inquiries and support tax calculations.
• Lead ad‑hoc and process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices, including US GAAP, IFRS and iGAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CA or CPA certification required.
• Previous experience in a corporate finance role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
