Management Controller – VS

About the role

The Management Controller (VS) will support the finance team by overseeing monthly closing, analysing results and ensuring accurate reporting of financial performance. This role contributes to budgeting, long‑term planning and the implementation of group‑wide control tools.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in, understand and challenge the monthly closing process.
• Provide analysis of monthly results, explaining variances versus budget and prior month across all P&L and activity lines.
• Consolidate weekly financial performance reporting and key performance indicators such as overdue external and internal items and internal control metrics.
• Coordinate and consolidate actions for the “Back on Track” initiative.
• Contribute to budget and Medium‑Term Plan (MTP) processes, including guidelines, recharges and standard templates.
• Benchmark and standardise management control tools and perform ad‑hoc analyses as required.
• Propose solutions for inter‑site litigations, including transfer pricing and recharges.
• Conduct on‑site management control reviews and pre‑validate internal audit reports (IAR) ensuring proper workflow compliance.
• Ensure deployment of group standard tools within VS and support the Group Ethics & Compliance programme.

Required profile

• Experience in monthly closing, financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Familiarity with budgeting, long‑term planning and KPI consolidation.
• Ability to work on ad‑hoc projects and support cross‑functional financial initiatives.
• Strong understanding of internal control, audit processes and compliance requirements.
