Management Controller

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Management Controller to join its finance team. The role involves supporting monthly closing, analysing financial results, and ensuring the accuracy of performance reporting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in, understand and challenge the monthly closing process.
• Provide analysis of monthly results to management, explaining variances versus budget and prior month across all P&L and activity lines.
• Consolidate weekly financial performance reporting and key performance indicators such as overdue external and internal items and internal controls.
• Coordinate “Back on Track” actions and contribute to budget and medium‑term planning (MTP) processes, including guidelines, recharges and standard templates.
• Benchmark and standardise management control tools, and perform ad‑hoc analyses as required.
• Propose solutions for inter‑site, product line and product group disputes (e.g., transfer pricing, R&D recharges).
• Conduct on‑site management control reviews and pre‑validate IAR and CAA workflows.
• Ensure deployment of standard tools from group, division, product group and product line within the region.
• Support the Group Ethics & Compliance programme by adhering to the code of ethics and Valeo policies.

Required profile

• Experience in monthly closing, financial analysis, budgeting and KPI reporting.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and resolve inter‑departmental financial issues.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.
