Maintenance Technician

About the role

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily properties safe, functional, and welcoming. You will respond to resident requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure the property’s curb appeal while delivering top‑tier customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose defects in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and pools.
• Maintain property appearance and curb appeal.
• Be on‑call for emergency situations and address them promptly.
• Collaborate with vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and ability to be on‑call.
• Positive attitude, strong customer‑service orientation, and excellent verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Word, Excel, email, internet).
