Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician provides exceptional service to residents by performing a wide range of property upkeep tasks. Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and reporting to the Property Manager, the role ensures the building’s systems and common areas remain safe, functional, and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent technical repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Complete apartment turnover work within three to five business days, including blind installation, filter changes, bulb replacement, and miscellaneous repairs.
• Maintain common areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, pressure washing, and cleaning windows.
• Monitor the building exterior for issues such as roof, siding, or shutters and report as needed.
• Support a preventive maintenance program and ensure all equipment is in safe condition.
• Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory and keep the work area orderly.
• Observe all safety rules and maintain clean, organized workspaces.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Strong time‑management, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to change.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents.
• Willingness to work on‑call hours and collaborate in a team environment.
