Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the plant’s maintenance team, ensuring reliable operation of all machinery, utilities and infrastructure while supporting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate shift resources to match operational needs, providing training, performance evaluations and priority setting.
• Design, implement and monitor a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PPM) program for all machines and utilities.
• Act as the primary technical lead during major breakdowns, prioritising repairs to protect production schedules and coordinating outsourced services when required.
• Maintain optimal spare‑parts inventory, raise purchase requisitions and ensure minimum stock levels.
• Oversee plant infrastructure including diesel generators, air compressors, chillers and UPS systems.
• Enforce Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) standards, conducting routine inspections to guarantee safe and efficient equipment operation.
• Manage the annual maintenance budget, drive in‑house repair initiatives to reduce costs and validate invoices for spares and services.
• Document activities, keep maintenance logs and report on status, costs and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Experience in shift resource planning and team supervision.
• Proven ability to design and execute preventive maintenance programs.
• Capability to lead rapid breakdown response and coordinate external maintenance providers.
• Strong inventory and spare‑parts management skills.
• Knowledge of plant utilities such as diesel generators, air compressors, chillers and UPS systems.
• Commitment to SHE compliance and routine safety inspections.
• Budget management experience and cost‑control focus.
• Effective reporting and documentation abilities.
