Maintenance Officer – Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance

About the role

The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of machinery and equipment at our Nashik facility. This role involves regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machines, tools, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and records in line with industry standards.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades.
• Monitor equipment reliability and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services.
• Maintain technical documentation, schematics, and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
