Maintenance Mechanic – Elevator & Escalator Service

About the role

Otis is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join its elevator and escalator service team in Bhubaneswar. You will be responsible for keeping a portfolio of units safe and operational, ensuring passenger safety and reliability across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all scheduled maintenance and service visits for elevators and escalators within the assigned territory.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, aiming for first‑time fixes and minimal downtime.
• Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to maintain continuous operation.
• Interact directly with customers on‑site to build strong working relationships.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any recurring issues.

Required profile

• Relevant local qualifications for maintenance mechanics.
• Valid driver’s licence (if required by local regulations).
• Minimum experience in the elevator sector as specified by local standards.
• Strong commitment to safety and professional conduct.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
