Maintenance Executive – Fleet MIS Management

About the role

The Maintenance MIS Executive will manage all maintenance‑related data, reports and documentation for WeVOIS’s fleet of waste‑collection vehicles operating across several cities. The role supports both preventive and breakdown maintenance by ensuring accurate job‑card updates, spare‑parts tracking and coordination with site mechanics and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update maintenance MIS for multiple cities using MS Excel.
• Prepare daily vehicle morning and evening reports, as well as weekly and monthly maintenance summaries.
• Update job cards and vehicle history cards, recording oil consumption and other service details.
• Track spare‑parts requirements, verify parts with site mechanics and raise city‑wise requisitions.
• Coordinate with site mechanics, workshops and external vendors for preventive and breakdown tasks.
• Validate vendor bills and submit them to the accounts department.
• Monitor vehicle downtime, maintenance history and inventory of spare parts.
• Resolve operational issues related to vehicle maintenance and ensure documentation accuracy.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Automobile Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in fleet or vehicle maintenance, workshop operations or related logistics.
• Exposure to fleet operations, waste‑management or heavy‑vehicle environments is preferred.
• Willingness to handle multi‑city operations and coordinate with on‑ground teams.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
• Good knowledge of vehicle systems, job‑card management, preventive maintenance and breakdown handling.
• Experience with spare‑parts inventory tracking and basic vendor billing processes.
• Ability to work with mechanics, vendors and internal teams to ensure data accuracy.
