Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with production teams to minimise downtime, improve machine performance and uphold safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve equipment failures to minimise production disruptions.
• Analyse maintenance data to identify trends, reliability issues and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, management and suppliers to develop and execute maintenance plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and mitigate potential hazards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, schematics and standard operating procedures.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, order supplies and track deliveries.
• Control maintenance budgets and ensure activities stay within financial limits.

Required profile

• B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3‑7 years of experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and equipment operation.
• Ability to analyse information, diagnose problems and develop effective solutions.
• Commitment to a safe working environment and familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
