Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our assembly line equipment. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce downtime, and support the installation and commissioning of new machines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for assembly line equipment.
• Support installation, commissioning, and improvement of production machines and equipment.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement mistake‑proofing (Poka‑Yoke) solutions.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and deliver timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to enhance machine reliability and maintainability.
• Drive initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and production efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or production equipment support.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors, pneumatic systems, and electrical control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Good problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, or OEE concepts is an advantage.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
