Main Cook – Seafood Specialist (Sarjapur, Bangalore)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Main Cook to lead our kitchen operations in Sarjapur, Bangalore. The role focuses on preparing high‑quality seafood, vegetarian, egg, and café classics while ensuring consistency and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and plate seafood dishes such as Pomfret Rawa Fry, Prawn Fry, and Fish Fingers, as well as veg, egg, and power‑bowl items.
• Maintain recipe consistency, portion control, and visual presentation for all menu items.
• Manage daily kitchen prep, stock checks, and raw‑material indenting.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, hygiene, cleanliness, and food‑safety standards.
• Coordinate with service and barista teams to streamline order flow during peak hours.
• Guide and train kitchen helpers and commis as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a café, restaurant or QSR kitchen.
• Strong background in Indian coastal/seafood and continental cuisine; seafood cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently under busy service conditions.
• Good understanding of hygiene, inventory, and waste control.
• Basic English; Kannada or Hindi is an advantage.
• Culinary or Hotel Management certification preferred but not mandatory.
