Maharashtra PCS Faculty (History, Science, Economy)

About the role

The institute is seeking experienced faculty members to teach History, Science, and Economy to candidates preparing for the Maharashtra PCS examinations. The role involves delivering high‑quality offline or online classes, creating engaging study material, and guiding students toward success in the state civil services exam.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lectures, doubt‑clearing sessions, and revision classes aligned with the Maharashtra PCS syllabus.
• Develop comprehensive classroom notes, handouts, and reference material for assigned subjects.
• Design and evaluate tests, practice questions, and mock exams to monitor student progress.
• Integrate previous‑year question trends and exam patterns into teaching.
• Use Maharashtra‑specific examples to make sessions relevant and engaging.
• Provide individual academic guidance and feedback as needed.
• Coordinate with academic and content teams for scheduling and material development.
• Participate in orientation sessions, workshops, seminars, and promotional events.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Stay updated on syllabus changes, exam patterns, and current affairs.

Required profile

• Strong command of the subject(s) with clear understanding of State PCS and UPSC patterns.
• Graduation or post‑graduation in a relevant discipline; PCS or UPSC mains/interview experience preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in competitive exam coaching (online or offline) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Marathi.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and relate them to practical, exam‑oriented examples.
• Positive, student‑centric attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• Familiarity with digital teaching platforms and tools for test creation and student engagement.
