Machining Engineer – CNC Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Machining Engineer to join our Machine Shop Operations team in Alwar, Rajasthan. You will be responsible for driving productivity, quality, safety and delivery through advanced CNC machining and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and drive continuous improvement across plant KPIs (safety, productivity, quality, efficiency, delivery).
• Operate, monitor and optimise CNC equipment such as HMC, VMC, turning centres, VTL, HBM and turn‑mills.
• Interpret engineering drawings, set up machining parameters and oversee inspection of large steel components.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Engineering to ensure smooth execution of machining operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, SAP records and contribute to Lean and TPM initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on machining experience, preferably on HBM and VTL machines.
• Experience machining large steel parts (>1 m or >1 ton).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation.
