Machine Operator – Manufacturing (Nagercoil)

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our fasteners manufacturing team in Nagercoil. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will operate and monitor production equipment that manufactures drywall screws and related fastening products.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, load materials and adjust settings on production machines.
• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Perform basic maintenance checks and routine upkeep.
• Inspect output, identify defects and apply quality standards.
• Follow established safety procedures and report any issues.
• Communicate production status, problems and improvement ideas to supervisors and team members.

Required profile

• Ability to operate and monitor production machinery.
• Knowledge of quality‑control practices for product inspection.
• Experience with machinery and hand tools in a manufacturing environment (advantageous).
• Effective communication skills for coordination with team and supervisors.
• Understanding of basic workplace safety guidelines.
• Basic education (high school or equivalent); technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
