About the role
The Machine Operator will be responsible for blasting and maintaining substrates, fixtures and machine parts within Oerlikon’s manufacturing facility in Tumakuru. The role ensures that all operations comply with quality, environmental and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Perform blasting of substrates, fixtures and machine components.
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance of blasting machines.
- Maintain fixtures and ensure they are ready for production.
- Follow all safety requirements and uphold 5S discipline.
- Execute processes according to QMS and EMS standards.
- Identify failures, initiate preventive actions and propose improvement ideas.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in machine operation or maintenance.
- ITI qualification or equivalent technical education.
- Customer‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Positive and open attitude towards teamwork and learning.
