M&A Attorney – Remote Contract

About the role
We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join a leading technology and internet company on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while providing legal expertise for high‑impact mergers and acquisitions.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on target entities and identify legal risks.
- Advise on corporate governance, compliance and regulatory matters related to M&A.
- Collaborate with finance, tax and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Ensure all transaction documentation meets legal standards and mitigates liabilities.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in a state bar with at least three years of M&A experience.
- Proven experience in domestic and cross‑border M&A transactions.
