Loss Prevention Associate

About the role

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees by monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Handle emergencies, defuse disturbances, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and loss‑prevention documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property information.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb unaided.
• Clear, professional communication skills and ability to interact with guests and staff.
• Commitment to follow company policies, maintain uniform standards, and protect proprietary information.
• Physical stamina to respond quickly to incidents and move at required speeds.
