Logistics Specialist – Domestic & Export/Import Operations

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will own day‑to‑day domestic logistics operations and support export and import shipments for Xometry’s Bengaluru hub. You will ensure timely pickups and deliveries, manage vendor invoicing, and maintain strong SLA adherence while providing accurate logistics reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily pickup and dispatch schedules for supplier‑to‑warehouse and warehouse‑to‑freight‑forwarder movements.
• Allocate routes and vehicles with domestic transporters, couriers and 3PL partners.
• Track on‑time pickup and delivery performance, monitor transit delays and act as first‑level escalation for shipment issues.
• Support export shipments (courier/air) and import, return, re‑export processes, preparing commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping instructions.
• Coordinate with CHAs, freight forwarders and couriers to track shipment milestones and escalate delays.
• Own end‑to‑end logistics vendor invoice processing for transporters, couriers and freight forwarders.
• Validate invoices against approved rate cards, RFQ contracts and actual service delivery; resolve over‑billing, duplicate billing and incorrect accessorial charges.
• Maintain invoice aging trackers, support finance for GRN/service entry and ensure timely payment processing.
• Prepare daily/weekly logistics MIS, highlight cost overruns, service failures and vendor performance gaps.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in domestic logistics execution.
• Working knowledge of export and import processes.
• Proven ability to validate logistics vendor invoices.
• High attention to detail, strong follow‑up and coordination skills with finance and vendors.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Presentation skills (e.g., PowerPoint).
