Logistics Specialist, AWS Infra-Logistics

About the role

Amazon’s AWS Infrastructure Services team is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support data‑center operations in India. You will manage inventory and fiscal processes, act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams, and ensure accurate documentation and communication across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and execute all aspects of transportation, shipping, receiving, and inventory control for data‑center components.
• Operate material‑handling equipment such as pallet jacks to load and unload large equipment.
• Assemble, label, and arrange shipments; unpack incoming boxes and verify contents.
• Maintain accountability of in‑stock components and update inventory records.
• Gather data, generate, publish and present metrics related to logistics and inventory.
• Document, update and publish new logistics processes.

Required profile

• Self‑driven, highly organized and autonomous with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of financial processes and ability to work with finance and inventory teams.
• Willingness to relocate within India if required.
