Logistics Specialist, AWS Infra-Logistics

About the role

Amazon’s AWS Infrastructure Services team is looking for a Logistics Specialist to support inventory and fiscal processes for Data Center Operations in India. The role will involve coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and financial groups to ensure accurate documentation, inventory control, and cost‑effective operations across multiple data centre locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage public and confidential documentation related to Data Center logistics.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address queries and align on inventory and financial processes.
• Oversee transportation, shipping, receiving, and inventory control, including use of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Assemble, label, and arrange shipments; unpack and verify incoming materials.
• Gather, generate, publish and present metrics on inventory, financial and operational performance.

Required profile

• Highly autonomous, detail‑oriented professional with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of financial processes and experience in inventory management.
• Ability to self‑educate, achieve goals independently and document new processes.
