Logistics Operator

About the role

Essity, a global leader in health and hygiene, is seeking a Logistics Operator for its manufacturing plant in Ponda, Goa. The role supports the movement, storage and dispatch of finished goods, raw and packaging materials, ensuring smooth warehouse operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Transfer finished goods from production to storage using pallet trucks, stackers and forklifts.
• Pick up and load finished goods for dispatch, record batch‑wise dispatches and print/export labels.
• Receive incoming raw and packaging materials, verify documents and sort mixed or damaged consignments.
• Perform periodic physical counts of raw, packaging and finished‑goods stock.
• Label, loose‑pack, stretch‑wrap and palletise goods; manage stock weighing and documentation.
• Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks, tankers and export containers with security, QC and logistics supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and optimise warehouse space utilization.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work safely under EOGL standards and handle physical tasks.
• Good coordination skills to interact with production, security and quality teams.
