Logistics Operations Executive

About the role

Fretlog is seeking a Logistics Operations Executive to manage end‑to‑end sea and air import operations from its Mumbai office. You will ensure smooth, timely, and compliant import processes while coordinating with customers, vendors, overseas agents, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full‑cycle Sea & Air import operations, including pre‑ and post‑shipment documentation.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, co‑loaders, CHAs, and transporters from pickup to final delivery.
• Update Fretrack with accurate shipment details such as ETD, ETA, and status.
• Maintain the Daily Shipment Report (DSR) in Excel and share regular updates with customers.
• Process import documentation, raise customer invoices, and ensure timely payment cycles.
• Share fund planning details with the accounts team and book debit notes and vendor invoices.
• Provide timely shipment updates to customers and resolve operational issues.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to guarantee timely delivery of goods.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to support smooth import operations.
• Continuously improve processes by streamlining procedures and SOPs.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in logistics, import operations, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and compliance.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and ability to manage time and workload efficiently.
