Logistics Manager (Hyderabad)

About the role

Unique Batteries is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the planning, implementation and coordination of logistics operations in Hyderabad. The role focuses on ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to the company and ultimately to customers while optimizing supply‑chain processes and reducing costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve supply‑chain efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate transportation activities, negotiate with carriers, and manage schedules of company vehicles, contractors, drivers and transporters.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure reliable service and favorable terms.
• Monitor inbound and outbound material movement, ensure timely loading, dispatch and delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
• Prepare and verify transportation documents such as delivery challans, gate passes, invoices, trip sheets and transporter bills.
• Resolve delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns and other transportation issues promptly.
• Collaborate daily with Warehouse, Purchase, Production, Sales and Accounts departments and produce logistics reports.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of relevant logistics or supply‑chain experience.
• Graduation or master’s degree in a related field.
• Strategic thinker with ability to improve workflows and reduce operational costs.
• Strong collaboration skills across multiple internal departments and external partners.
