Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the Account Executive team to ensure smooth freight movement across India. This facilitator role involves coordinating with customers, motor carriers, and internal teams to deliver reliable shipping services.

Key responsibilities

• Assign carriers to shipments based on detailed shipment information.
• Book and schedule all shipments for the assigned Account Executive team.
• Negotiate carrier rates and select carriers that meet service level and profitability targets.
• Monitor carrier performance, report failures, and maintain communication with carriers.
• Ensure daily load coverage and maintain direct communication with Account Executives and leadership.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated work ethic and ability to multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules as needed.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
