Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the Account Executive team to facilitate freight movement across India. This role ensures shipments are scheduled, carriers are assigned, and customers receive reliable service.

Key responsibilities

• Assign carriers to move shipments based on shipment details.
• Book and schedule all shipments for the assigned Account Executive team.
• Negotiate carrier rates and select carriers based on service levels and profitability targets.
• Monitor carrier performance and report any failures.
• Maintain direct communication with Account Executives and leadership.
• Ensure all expected loads are covered each day.
• Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and understanding of logistics systems.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.

• Microsoft Outlook (intermediate level).
• Microsoft Word (intermediate level).
• Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
