Location Investigation Manager

About the role

The Location Investigation Manager will lead investigations related to fraud, compliance and risk across the organisation. Reporting to the Risk and Legal department, the role requires close coordination with law‑enforcement agencies, legal teams and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Conclude investigations within defined timelines and draft investigation reports.
• Coordinate with law‑enforcement agencies and industry bodies for case handling.
• Recover monetary losses as per the penalty matrix and conduct mystery‑shopping or seeding activities.
• Identify process gaps, perform root‑cause analysis and drive automation or system enhancements.
• Work with the Legal team to file police complaints and FIRs.
• Ensure departmental audit and regulatory compliance, managing internal audit scores and open items.
• Oversee vendor management and improve process efficiency.
• Maintain MIS and fraud‑tracking dashboards, prepare periodic reports for senior management.
• Lead awareness campaigns and develop training material on fraud prevention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Experience in collections for mid‑market or corporate clients.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and reporting abilities.
• Process‑oriented mindset with an innovative approach.
• Ability to manage complex deals and stakeholder networks.
• Flexibility to travel for on‑ground collection activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Experience with fraud detection and investigation systems.
